We love the Tally Ho!!! We stay here at least once a year and send all our family and friends here. Spacious rooms, spectacular views, plus the friendliest staff at any hotel we have ever stayed at! We cannot wait to come back!!!!

We can’t wait to return! 

​Our spacious and lovely ocean view room made a delightful home base on our weekend in Carmel. I stayed at the Tally Ho as a child in the 60’s and have revisited this wonderful inn over the years with my family. This trip my husband and I introduced our 13 year old granddaughter to the charm of Carmel. We can’t wait to return!

​18th Wedding Anniversary Stay!

So happy to finally stay at the Tally Ho Inn! it has been recommended to us many times. It was the perfect romantic location for an anniversary. The room was very clean and private with a wonderful ocean view. It was walking distance to all the restaurants and the beach. We will definitely make this a tradition.

​Superb!

This is an amazing property, boutique hotel. We have stayed here two nights as part of a longer vacation. We had the superior room with a king bed and a huge terrace overlooking the ocean. Very spacious room with a fireplace, very comfortable king bed. The terrace is well furnished to enjoy the magnificent ocean views or to sunbathe. Large bathroom with double sinks, a separate shower and a jacuzzi. The entrance to this room is totally private, with a flight of stairs from the street. Location is right in the middle of everything, shops, restaurants, art galleries,a 10 minutes walk to the beach.

There was no housekeeping daily due to COVID-19 but we were provided with everything we asked for. Excellent service at the front desk, coffee and teas in the lobby and weekdays brandy and appetizers after 5pm.

Highly, very highly recommend this property when in Carmel by The Sea.
